Swiss Chalet Gifts & Collectibles began in 2004. I started the business in an attempt to keep my husband and I from sitting around too much. We sell a wide variety of items. Such as: toys, candle holders, candles, patchwork, porcelain, eagles, brass decor, glass items, yard decor, doll collections, specialty knives, and jewelry. We have catalogs available that show everything we carry. You will find a link on the main web page that will enable you to purchase one of these catalogs. Besides the web site, we will be selling at swap meets, craft fairs, etc. Company Information Swiss Chalet Gifts & Collectibles All credit card and debt card orders taken by Swiss Chalet Gifts are handled through PayPal. PayPal insures that your credit card or PayPal information is protected to the highest degree that technology will allow. You can place your orders with complete confidence and peace of mind. You can use Visa, MasterCard, DiscoverCard, and American Express through the PayPal shopping cart. Credit card payments are only accepted through the PayPal shopping cart. If you wish to pay by check or money order, after you have finished shopping, print out the shopping cart page and mail it and your payment to the address above. If your computer will not print the shopping cart page, you will have to print out this order form, fill it out by hand, then mail it, along with your payment, to the address above. When filling out the order form by hand, please remember to write clearly. All orders paid by check will be held for up to 10 days for the check to clear. -- SHIPPING
POLICY -- We ship to the lower 48 U.S. states only, using UPS. We do not ship to PO boxes. All orders will be shipped after credit card approval and order processing. This process may take 2 to 3 business days. You will be notified of the shipping date of your order along with the tracking number as soon as we receive it from UPS. Our standard shipping is through UPS. To ensure your order arrives on time for special occasions, we highly recommend you place your order as early as possible. The actual shipping time may be approximately 7 - 10 business days. Remember, any orders paid for through PayPal will be shipped to PayPal confirmed addresses only, so PLEASE don't ask (This is PayPal's rule). If you want your order sent to a different address than your own, you will have to pay by check or money order. Shipping Rates Our shipping rates were designed to be as reasonable for our customers as possible. Rates are based on the total cost of your merchandise. If your order is $90.00 or below, shipping is a flat rate of $10.00 (Sorry, but that is exactly what we are charged). If your order is above $90.00, the shipping will be as follows:
If over $800.00, shipping will be FREE. If you are paying by credit card and using the Shopping Cart, the shipping rate is calculated for you. NOTE: You will notice that some items have the notation "May require additional freight charge". If you are ordering any of these items, the "Additional freight charge" will not be included on your shopping cart total. When I receive your order, I will obtain the amount of the "Additional charges" from the shipper and notify you of the amount of additional charges. This additional charge is based on either the size or weight of the item, and how far it is being shipped. Sales Tax California State orders are subject to 7.975% Sales Tax, and will be added to the total of your order. If you are using the Shopping Cart, the Sales Tax is calculated for you. -- PRIVACY POLICY – We are committed to safeguarding your privacy. Your personal information, including your e-mail address will not be sold or rented to any third party, but will be used by us solely for purposes of order fulfillment, providing requested information, or other purposes necessary to the functioning of our business. If and when the need arises, we will provide information to law enforcement authorities if required to do so. -- RETURN / REFUND POLICY -- Any items arriving damaged may be returned within 10 days of receipt for full refund (using your initial method of payment) or replacement. Returns for non-damaged item must also be done within 10 days and be in new condition. All refunds will be for the amount of the item only, not the shipping fees. A $10 restocking fee will be charged for non-defective returns or refusals. If you need to return an item, for any reason, please notify us via email at swisschaletgifts@comcast.net. Please wait for a reply from us before you return the item or items. Swiss Chalet Gifts is not responsible for any damage to the goods during the return, so we recommend that the return shipment be insured and traceable. -- WHOLESALE ORDERS - We have a very generous wholesale price list, with great profit potential. You should recognize, based on our already low retail prices, that wholesale prices will be very attractive. There are a number of ways that this can be done. One possibility is for those of you who purchase large quantities of items for a physical store front. We will give you greatly reduced prices for volume purchases. Others may wish to act as a sub-wholesaler offering our products to others at retail prices. In this scenario you will order from us and we will ship to you and you can deliver to your customer.
